Assist with humane removal and exclusion work in line with state wildlife laws and animal welfare standards
Install one-way doors, vent covers, chimney caps, screening, and other exclusion materials
Assist with attic cleanup and sanitation after training
Photograph and document findings in our field software
Explain findings to property owners professionally
Follow ladder, roof-access, PPE, and safety procedures
Qualifications:
Coursework or degree in wildlife biology, natural resources, or a related field preferred; we’ll also consider strong field experience without a degree [edit as needed]
Comfortable working on ladders and roofs and in attics and crawlspaces, in heat and other conditions
Reliable and comfortable talking with customers
Valid driver’s license [and clean driving record]
Benefits of this position:
Paid, hands-on training in wildlife exclusion and field safety
Applied experience in human–wildlife conflict resolution
Opportunity to move into a full-time, year-round role at the end of the season

At least 18 years old with a valid driver’s license and an acceptable driving record. Techs drive to job sites, and your insurance will likely require this.
Able to work safely on extension ladders and roofs, and in tight attics and crawlspaces.
Able to lift and carry 50 lbs, such as ladders, materials, and equipment. Adjust the number to what the job actually involves.
Able to work outdoors and in hot attics, in all weather.

Reliable, punctual, and comfortable talking with customers in their homes.
Able to use a smartphone or tablet to take photos and log jobs.
Available for the full season dates.
Preferred
Coursework or a degree in wildlife biology, natural resources, environmental science, or a related field.

Experience with construction, roofing, carpentry, or general home repair. This is honestly as useful as a wildlife background for exclusion work.
Ability to identify common wildlife species from sign.
Customer service or sales experience.
