Company History
Critter Control was founded in 1983 in suburban Detroit, Michigan as Clark's Critter Control by our visionary founder, Kevin Clark. The early successes of the concept lead to company expansion by adding the first Branch Office in January 1985. Additional branch offices quickly followed (primarily in Michigan and Ohio) and by the end of 1987 the company name had been changed to Critter Control, Inc. and franchise licenses were being offered. From these humble beginnings independent franchised locations currently operate in over 100 cities and employ over 300 people nationwide.
