ODFW's mission is to protect and enhance Oregon's fish and wildlife and their habitats for use and enjoyment by present and future generations.

• Is the fifth largest state fish and wildlife agency in the United States, with approximately 1,400 employees
• Manages more than 200,000 acres of land
• Operates 33 fish hatcheries
• Manages 12 wildlife areas
• Contains 10 watershed districts
• Is governed by a seven-member Commission appointed by the Governor
