- Wildlife Rehab Assistant - Seasonal
Description
Purpose: Sarvey Wildlife is seeking a full-time seasonal wildlife rehabilitation assistant to aid our staff during the busy baby season.
Applicants MUST have experience caring for a variety of bird (including raptors) and mammal species found in Washington state. The applicant should be organized, hardworking, and efficient. Positions will be open until filled. Two openings exist for this role and applications will be reviewed as they arrive. Position start date is flexible. Preferably between April and May and position will end in September.

Required Qualifications
Candidates must have a minimum of one "baby season" experience at a high-volume center as an intern or seasonal employee
Effective communication and interpersonal skills
Professional, responsible, caring
Experience capturing, handling and restraining non-domestic animals
Ability to work in a high stress, fast-paced environment
This position will require a background check
Physical Demands
Ability to have full range of motion and movement, stretching and bending, standing for long periods of time, and ability to lift 40 lbs
Ability to work in extreme weather conditions
