About the Role
ProTrappers LLC is a growing wildlife control company serving residential and commercial clients throughout Central New Jersey.
We are hiring a full-time Wildlife Control Technician to help expand operations ahead of peak season.
This is physical, hands-on outdoor work. You will work on rooftops, ladders, crawlspaces, attics, and around wild animals. This job requires professionalism, mechanical ability, and comfort with euthanizing wildlife with a CO2 chamber.
If you are looking for an easy indoor job, this is not it.

Pay & Advancement
$22/hour starting pay
Paid Overtime
Monthly performance bonus based on productivity
Clear advancement path to higher pay tiers
Raises tied to responsibility (inspections, exclusion work, training others)
High performers will earn more and advance quickly.
What You’ll Do
Perform trap checks and animal removal
Perform emergency animal removals
Conduct inspections and initial job setups
Perform minor structural exclusion repairs
Work safely on ladders and roofs
Communicate clearly with customers
Document work with photos and notes
Maintain company vehicle and equipment
Schedule
Full-time (5 days per week)
Regular weekend coverage required
Seasonal workload increases during spring and early summer

Requirements
What We’re Looking For
Physically capable (lifting, ladders, crawlspaces)
Mechanically inclined
Comfortable working outdoors in all weather
Professional and respectful with customers
Reliable and punctual
Valid driver’s license with clean record
Not afraid of wildlife or euthanasia
Experience in trapping, wildlife handling, home exterior repairs or similar trades is a plus — but not required. We will train the right person.
What We’re Not Looking For
Someone afraid of heights
Someone uncomfortable with wildlife removal
Someone who needs constant supervision
