Description
Begins May 15th and ends July 31st, 2026
Primary responsibilities include leading and assisting with outdoor programs and activities for day and residential camps that focus on wildlife conservation, outdoor sports, and Georgia natural history. Camps will cover a variety of topics including survival skills, animal and plant identification, outdoor recreation, and more! There will also be opportunities for professional development and resume building related to conservation education.
$12.00 per hour at 40-45 hours/week plus free on-site housing is included and utilities covered (water, gas, electric and wi-fi; value of about $3000). Meals will also be provided during residential camps.
Requirements
Applicants must be self-motivated, conservation minded, interested in working with children, love the outdoors, and enthusiastic about sharing their knowledge with others. Preference will be given to those candidates who are currently working toward or have earned a wildlife or education-related degree.
